Turning your music hobby into a career: What many consider to be a dream job is in fact a lucrative business. The turnover of the German music industry in 2021 was 6.1 billion euros. However, the music industry also suffered considerably from the coronavirus pandemic. The live entertainment industry in particular continues to be plagued by fewer tickets sold than before and repeatedly cancelled shows. Nevertheless, the market was already able to recover somewhat in 2022 and stable growth is forecast for the coming years. The music industry is the right place for you if you are creative, innovative and open to a dynamic and lively industry that is always in tune with the times.
